Cafe La Boheme

Cafe La Boheme

In 2007 the old La Boheme was transformed into the contemporary Cafe La Boheme.  It is now more than 20 years in West Hollywood and has become the restaurant for special events, family reunions, birthdays and parties with its chandelier and white linen. It is a place to remember for sure.

Chef Christine Banta guides the kitchen, and creates exceptional food with multi-faceted choices: Sliders and Mac n’cheese; Shoe string fries and Crispy Blue Crab cake; Roasted Beet Salad and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Try the Pineapple Up and Down Cake as dessert and you feel like in heaven! Last but not least ther is Bohemian Happy Hour 7 days a week from 4.30 to 7.30.

Patina

Located in the spectacular Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, you can find the Patina that is under the wings of Master Chef Joachim Splichal. This Relais & Chateaux property will pamper you seasonal tasting menus, gourmet cheeses, caviar service, and an award-winning wine list. It offers elegant al fresco dining, stylish late night cocktail bar and an impeccable service. It is the place to go for special occasions.
Their  7 course tasting menu which is $115 per person sounds high but you know, it is worth it. Just skip a couple of mediocre dinners and it’s fine.
The best is an unusual but delicious dessert and it is Basil paste with Harry’s Berries strawberries and vanilla ice cream. Too good! Yelp crowns the restaurant with 4,5 stars – as good a sit can get in LA.

largo at the coronet

Nestled in the heart of West Hollywood, Largo at the Coronet on La Cienega Boulevard is the perfect place to see and be seen in Los Angeles. The club is famous throughout the area for their spectacular comedic and musical performances, as well as the performances of resident singer/songwriter Jon Brion.

Owner Mark Flanagan opened Largo in the early 1990s on Fairfax Avenue. The original venue offered a maximum capacity of 130 people. Having outgrown its capacity, Flanagan moved the club to its current location in 2008. The main room of the Largo at the Coronet Theater seats 280 people in traditional theater-style seating and the “Little Room” can accommodate 65. The Little Room also serves as a place for people to gather for beer and wine before and after the shows, and allows artists to offer smaller performances in a more intimate setting.

Largo at the Coronet is even more popular in its new location on La Cienega than it was on Fairfax Avenue. The shows typically contain a mix of music and comedy and are often attended by celebrities. The nightclub has a great ambiance, the acoustics are amazing and there is not one bad seat in the house. Ticket prices are quite affordable, so shows often sell out quickly. Anyone interested in attending a show at the Largo at the Coronet should buy their tickets early and arrive at the venue early to get a seating assignment. Parking in the area can be difficult to find, but the Largo does have its own parking garage.

The Largo has launched the careers of many musicians and comedians, including Tenacious D and Jack Black. The theater has also hosted a wide range of celebrity acts, including Russell Brand, Sarah Silverman, Ben Folds and Fiona Apple. Yelp gives Largo four stars.
